This course shows the student how to extend a SharePoint web site by using the Microsoft SharePoint Designer tool to create new web pages, web parts, tri-state workflow and much more. SharePoint Designer is a tool that allows for the exetension of web sites without programming regular programming by using a fill in the blanks and a cut and paste approach. SharePoint Designer uses a series of templates which are customized and then used to create the new web site components.

This Boot Camp is action packed and teaches the student how to plan for the creation of a SharePoint farm site and how to use extranets for publishing corporate data across the internet in a secure manner. This course offers the following:
- Advanced installation of SharePoint.
- Advanced planning, architect and installion a SharePoint farm composed of 4 servers, including an SQL 2008 server, an AD server, 2 SharePoint servers and 2 MOSS servers.
- ISA server, certificate server, and secured extranets installation.

- Site Branding, web part design, Database access, complete office integration and Single-Sign-On technologies.
- Site security options include integrated security, forms and anonymous authentication
